NCCOPS

NCCOPS Charitable Foundation was founded in 2008, and has set meeting the following goals as its mission:

• To conduct civic work and programs that enhances the safety of police officers and civilian men, women, and children.
  

• To establish, maintain, and enhance public relations between law enforcement officers and children, business and corporate professionals, and the general citizenship of our communities.
  

• To foster a recognition of the professionalism of our NC law enforcement officers.
  

• To provide training to law enforcement officers through training conferences, instructional workshops, and training scholarships; that will enhance the safety of officers and goals of police work.
  

• To educate and provide a means of support for post traumatic stress through training and a post traumatic support group for law enforcement officers.
  

• To provide immediate emergency response to Law Enforcement families who suffer the loss of a member killed in the line of duty.
  

• To foster and provide a means of communications, information, and liaison, between individual NC law enforcement officers across the state, and their respective departments and agencies, along with the many contemporary training and technology companies serving law enforcement today.
